The 5th Annual Conference of the American Sociological Association Section on the Sociology of Development This is a time of critical re-thinking about the nature and meaning of Development. To address the questions of what is development, what or who is to be developed and why, Cornell University (in conjunction with the ASA Section on the Sociology of Development) is hosting a conference on “Development in Question”, to be held October 6-8 2016 on the Cornell campus in Ithaca, New York, USA. This site gives information on the conference themes, program and venue (including transport and lodging options).
